Does anybody know what's special about this version? All I see is the term "Sonderauflage" printed on the cover and record (German for special edition). There seems to be some confusion about the date that Barrett turned up, and Gilmour's wedding. Blake (2008) writes that Gilmour's wedding was on 7 July, the date also given by Ginger in "The Pink Floyd FAQ", but that witnesses swore they saw Barrett at his reception at Abbey Road. Other authors claim that the reception and Barrett's visit were on 5 June. My copy is Variant 9, I think. SHVL814 on spine and record centre. Inside sleeve has 4 rounded corners, opens at the top but has SHVL814 (1) on the bottom right hand corner.

It says here that’s on later versions but I can’t find an A1/B3 anywhere else but on this first one. Can someone point me in the right direction or is this going to be an edit on one when I finally figure which one it is?
